Bookmenti is run by Eggvelop ApS (CVR 44287463, Denmark). It is a free index of the books mentioned in podcasts. By using the site or the API you agree to what follows.
We listen to published podcast episodes, find the moments where a book is mentioned, and index them so you can search a show and see what was recommended, or search a book and see who talked about it. Mentions are identified partly by automated transcription and matching.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any podcast, publisher, author, or retailer that appears on the site. Podcast titles, artwork, book titles, and author names belong to their owners and appear here to identify the work being discussed.
Automated transcription makes mistakes, and so do we. A mention may point at the wrong book, quote a line imprecisely, or sit at a slightly wrong timestamp. Bookmenti is offered as is, without a promise that every entry is correct or that the site is always available. If something matters to you, check it against the episode itself.

Bookmenti offers a search API and an MCP endpoint for use in AI assistants, accessed with a key we issue. Keys carry a daily request quota. Keep your key to yourself, stay inside the quota rather than creating extra keys to get around it, and expect us to suspend a key that is degrading the service for everyone else. We may change quotas or withdraw access, and will give notice where we reasonably can.
Where the site lets you leave an email address, for example to be told when a podcast you voted for is added, we use it only for that notification. See the privacy and cookies page for the detail.
We publish short video clips of book mentions to social platforms including TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Those clips use excerpts of the original episode to identify and credit the book and the show. If you hold rights in an episode and would like a clip taken down, email contact@bookmenti.com and we will remove it.
Bookmenti is free, and to the extent Danish law allows, Eggvelop ApS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and nothing here affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use Bookmenti after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes go to the Danish courts, unless consumer law where you live says otherwise. Questions go to contact@bookmenti.com.
